In addition to using the information for the purpose you provided it, we may also use your personally identifying information for other limited purposes such as thanking you for your business when you make purchases, notifying you if you have won a contest, providing you with personally-tailored coupons, offers, or other information provided to Budgetext by other companies. The following features on our Website require you to actively submit certain personally identifiable customer information:

      2. This feature enables you to review the titles and quantities on an order (shipped or unshipped) and to conduct online tracking of orders that have shipped. To use the “Check Your Account” feature you are required to submit a username and password that are identifiable to your Budgetext customer account.

    2. Returns Processing

      3. This feature enables you to submit return requests and receive return authorizations online. You will be required to submit an email address and a username and password that are identifiable to your Budgetext customer account.

      You will also have the opportunity to submit a mailing address, phone number, and other contact information. If you do not actively submit this information, the data that is already found in your Budgetext customer account file will be submitted by default.

    3. eWantLists

      4. This feature enables you to check stock and place orders online. You will be required to submit a username and password that is identifiable to your Budgetext customer account before entering this portion of our Website.

      If you decide to place an order, you will have the opportunity to submit a mailing address, phone number, and other contact information. If you do not actively submit this information, the data that is already found in your Budgetext customer account file will be submitted by default.

    4. Credit Card Transactions

      5. Payment for online orders via credit card is not required for all customers, but if you do pay using a credit card, you will be required to enter the card type, card holder’s name, credit card number, and expiration date.

    How we use your personal customer information.

    Budgetext.com does not sell or share your personally-identifying information to any other company, person or agency. We will disclose personally-identifying information only if required to do so by law, or if requested to do so by a law enforcement agency in the context of an ongoing criminal investigation, when such disclosure could be required by a subpoena or court order. Any request for information must be cleared by our legal department. In addition, we may use any information you provide when conducting our own investigations of alleged customer wrongdoing, such as dishonored or fraudulent methods of payment. We may create compilations of information that are not personally-identifying and provide these compilations to other companies to help them understand the shopping patterns of our customers.

    Credit card transactions are handled by a third-party financial institution and its vendors, which receive the credit card number and other personally identifying information for the purpose of verifying the credit card numbers and processing the transactions. These third parties will have access to your personally identifying information if you purchase from the Website using a credit card.

    We further secure your personal information by requiring you to log in using your Budgetext customer account number and a personal password any time you enter an area of our site that gives access to personal account information.

Neither we nor our affiliates review or are responsible for the policies and practices of other companies, and any information you submit to those websites is subject to their privacy policies.

    7. We do not specifically solicit or collect information about children, but we are concerned about the safety of children and their use of the Internet. We will not knowingly request or solicit personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without prior verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. In the event that we receive actual knowledge that we have collected such personally identifiable information without the requisite and verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information from our database as quickly as is practical.
